What commission does not buy

• No business pays to be included, to be described favourably, or to have a competitor left out.
• Nothing is added or removed from a guide because of what it earns. If a cheaper option carries no commission, it still gets named.
• If content is ever paid for or supplied by an advertiser, it is labelled as advertising, plainly and at the top.

What is not sold here

No alcohol is sold on this site. Guides about whisky explain public standards and may point you to sellers; the transaction, and the licence to conduct it, belong to the seller.
