Tools, not calculators of your personal data

Each one answers a question at the moment it is asked — in the shop, at the door — from a published rule or from a dated visit. They store nothing, ask for nothing, and run no script.

Why there are only two

A tool is added here when it clears four tests: it answers faster than reading the guide would, its branches can be settled from a published document or a recorded visit, it can be built without storing an input, and it matters to someone already reading this site. A quiz that produces a personality result clears none of them.

The rules behind both tools are written up in full, with their sources and their limits, in the guides.
