These terms cover the paid reference sold on this site. Free guides are not covered by anything here — they are simply published, at no cost and with no transaction.

Price
US$24 for the reference, as a one-off purchase. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
Outside Japan, any consumption tax or VAT that applies where you are is calculated and shown at the checkout before you pay. Stripe acts as merchant of record for that sale and handles the tax.
Buyers in Japan pay the same US$24, which already includes Japanese consumption tax. For a domestic sale, Coussinet — not Stripe — is the seller for tax purposes and accounts for that tax itself; nothing extra is added or shown at checkout.
Payment
By card, at a checkout hosted by Stripe. This site never sees or stores your card details. Payment is taken at the moment you complete the checkout.
When you receive it
Immediately. Completing the checkout returns you to a download page on this site, which confirms the payment with Stripe and then serves the file. There is nothing to ship and no waiting period.
If the download does not start — a closed tab, a dropped connection — email the address above and quote your Stripe receipt. The receipt is your proof of purchase, so keep it.
Returns and cancellation
The reference cannot be returned or cancelled once purchased. It is a digital file delivered in full at the moment of payment, so there is nothing that can be given back.
This is stated plainly because it has to be: where a seller sets no return term, a statutory right of return applies instead, and that default cannot work for a file you already have.
What is not excluded: if the file is corrupt, incomplete, or not what this site described, email the address above. That is a fault on our side and will be put right.
What the reference does not do
It does not judge named bottles, brands or producers, and it contains no prices, market values or resale figures. It explains what the rules require so that you can read a label yourself. Nothing in it is legal, tax or investment advice. This is stated here as well as in the reference itself so that it is clear before you pay rather than after.
Governing law
The sale is made from Japan and Japanese law applies. Nothing here removes rights you hold under the consumer law of your own country where that law applies to the sale.
